Macbeth
Macbeth is a tragedy by William Shakespeare. It was probably first performed in 1606. It was published in the Folio of 1623, possibly from a prompt book, and is Shakespeare's shortest tragedy.
In the play, Macbeth is a Scottish general under the rule of King Duncan. Three witches tell Macbeth that he will become king of Scotland. Macbeth is spurred by his ambition and his wife, murdering Duncan and acceding to the throne. His reign is bloody and tyrannical and is ended by the combined forces of Scotland and England
Shakespeare's tragedy with modern absurd theatre
The term “absurdity” is very well known in literature. As we compare macbeth with the absurd manner we will find that
In present story also there is hopeless situations and meaningless actions thats what absurd is but with Shakespeare's play this got very famous and also tactful.
changes which i like to make
Firstly i will make the characters more drafty than shown in the story however it is impossile to match whith Shakespeare's presentation but it will push the situations as per the charactets need and will reflect the same.
Ambition in 21st century
In 21st century we regard ambition as modernisation and refer it as "good"thing but in Shakespeare's time it is not a positive thing it probably leads to counter force and at tme end as revenge!
21st century versus 17th century learning lesson
It is abvious that 21st century has much more things compare to the 17th century in terms of facility and technology but in literature touch i would say 17th century was best because it has much more meaningful content than that of now.
play relevant in our times
The present century has faced a drought in thinking activity ultimately in literature because now a days stories and the content is not of peace but related to harshness which is a negative sign for todays world.
Thank you.
